Dr. Staci R. Young, MD |
Dr. Young was born and raised in the metro-east, and graduated from Granite City High School. She graduated magna cum laude from Truman State University in Kirksville, MO with a bachelor’s degree in Biology. She went on to receive her medical degree from Southern Illinois University School of Medicine, where she graduated first in her class and earned a junior and senior membership in Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society. Dr. Young completed her residency training in pediatrics at St. Louis Children’s Hospital/Washington University School of Medicine.
After residency she began practicing private pediatrics back in her hometown. In November of 2006 she started her own practice in Edwardsville, IL, Young Pediatrics. Dr. Young is board-certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics and the Christian Medical Society.
She resides in Maryville, IL with her husband and three children. She and her family are active members of the community and their church. She continues to maintain her ties with St. Louis Children’s Hospital as an active member of the medical staff. She also has admitting privileges at Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital, Anderson Hospital, and Gateway Regional Medical Center.

Denise Gray, LPN |
Meet Denise Gray, LPN. Dr. Young's nurse. You and your child will see her each visit as she escorts you to your exam room, rooms your child, and yes...administers the immunizations. She is also the person you will talk to initially when you call in for advice during the day. Denise has been a pediatric nurse for many years in the office-based setting. She grew up in Wood River, IL, and recently returned to the area. She and her husband reside in Maryville with their children.
